Completely redesigned these models incorporate Toshiba’s latest controller technology.

Toshiba launches three new mid-range A3 series with a total of nine exciting new multifunction systems (MFP) in colour and monochrome.

The launch includes nine new colour and monochrome multifunction systems: two series of colour systems – the e-STUDIO2000AC and the e-STUDIO5005AC series – with a total of six models and the e-STUDIO4508A series consisting of three monochrome models. What all three series have in common is the newly developed e-BRIDGE Next controller technology with advanced features which easily adapt to any workplace environment.

Operating the multifunction systems is just as intuitive as using a mobile device and gives easyaccess to all functions. Furthermore, it can be personalised according to a user’s preferences and need – starting with the possibility to change the background image, icons and personalised views, all the way to creating short cuts that start complex document workflow processes.

The Dual Scan Document Feeder is another highlight available with the new models. As an optional feature for the e-STUDIO4508A series and the e-STUDIO5005AC series, this document feeder has an outstanding capacity of up to 300 sheets and allows double-sided scanning at an impressive speed of up to 240 images per minute.

Regarding functionality, all three series come with print, scan and copy as standard functions and offer fax, OCR scanning and pull-printing as options. To meet the needs of modern businesses they all also support cloud and mobile printing. Thanks to the open platform architecture and embedded apps, the systems can easily be connected to server applications to support the creation of customised workflows. These workflows can help simplify the complex tasks of scanning, archiving or document management thereby increasing the overall productivity of a business. Also, the deployment of workflows, user management as well as monitoring and reporting can be centralised, saving administrators valuable time.

“We understand that every industry has unique workflow needs which is why we have developed systems which give our customers complete flexibility”, says Bret Davies, General Manager – Electronic Imaging Division, Toshiba. “With the launch of these nine new mid-range models we provide tailor-made, cost effective document management solutions to complement our Toshiba One offering.”

All nine systems deliver impeccable document output and are highly reliable and efficient. They differ only in print speed, paper capacity and finishing options. The e-STUDIO5005AC series comes in five speeds ranging between 25 and 50 pages per minute (ppm) and offer a paper capacity of up to 3,200 sheets with an extended range of finishing options to create perfect colour documents. The e-STUDIO2000AC on the other hand is an entry-level colour system with a print speed of 20 ppm and a maximum paper capacity of 2,900 sheets.

The three monochrome systems of the e-STUDIO4508A series are highly productive with a large choice of finishing options and paper sources. With print speeds from 25 to 50 ppm and their paper capacity of up to 3,200 sheets they meet all requirements of today’s business needs.

Toshiba’s ongoing commitment to create a greener tomorrow is also reflected in these new models. Lower energy consumption and advanced energy save functions help save valuable resources. They also comply with leading environmental programmes and standards such as the ENERGY STAR® and Blue Angel.

These products are available throughout Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands.
